CHALLENGE

Whilst each chapter had held separate industry dialogues with captains of industry is each of their home countries over the past 10 months, this was the first high level group council meeting and Singapore Management University (SMU) wanted to give it due recognition.

More than 30 members of SMU’s six International Advisory Councils (IAC) in China, Indonesia, Myanmar, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam convened for the inaugural SMU IAC Asia Summit in Singapore in August 2018. Themed “ASEAN & China: Intelligent Integration and Sustainability”, Activiste was tasked with visually encapsulating the positioning goals of the Asian Summit and to lay the ground for future event branding thereafter.

SOLUTION

Working with the Office of Advancement, Activiste developed an event and outreach graphic that expressed the idea and intention of the council. The new event graphic, encapsulates the ambitions of the initiative and its council members in building a better Asia through collaborative discussion, thought leadership generated through a deep partnership between academia, government and the business community.

IMPACT

The history of tea in Asia goes all the way back to the beginning of recorded history itself! Each Asian country has its own culture and tradition embedded in the art of tea making and pouring. What better way to celebrate the diversity and harmony of fruitful collaboration than a selection of fine teas representing each of the IAC countries as a special gift for participants of the SMU Asian Summit.
